If a family member has passed and has been buried, there are several ways in which you can honor that person's memory.  Many people like to decorate their loved one's gravesite. ·       You can create a bright spot near the gravesite by planting fresh flowers.  Every time you visit the place to pay homage, the flowers will remind you of your loved one.  Choose flowers that the person particularly liked and ones that will enhance the beauty of the gravesite.

·       You have the option to place different photographs near the grave.  These images can bring back memories and give you some solace when you to visit the place to pay your respects.  You can frame these photographs in weather-resistant frames so that they last for a longer time.

·       If your loved one was a veteran or served in the military, you can also position a few flags near the gravesite.  It is an excellent way of personalizing the space.

·       You have the option to place a funeral wreath at the gravesite and choose something unique and special.   It's good to select materials that would be able to weather the elements and will not fade when exposed to the sun's rays.

·       If there is something special that you want to say to your loved one, you can write it down on paper and secure it to the gravesite. These simple things can create a more personalized space around your loved one's grave and also give you some solace when you visit it.
